Bristorm anti-vehicle fence comprises of galvanised high tensile steel ropes, substantial main anchor posts and lightweight intermediate line posts.  The Bristorm wire rope is incredibly strong, but still allows a clear line of sight beyond the perimeter. It is designed to immobilise attacking vehicles and is tested and approved to BSI PAS 68. The Bristorm fence can withstand ramming attacks by vehicles and remains in place preventing subsequent encroachment and maintain vital stand-off.

Bristorm is currently available in four versions.

Bristorm LP - Withstands impact from a 2,500 kg vehicle at 40 mph (64 km/h)
Bristorm 30 - Withstands impact from a 7,500 kg truck at 30 mph (48 km/h)
Bristorm 40 - Withstands impact from a 7,500 kg truck at 40 mph (64 km/h)
Bristorm 50 - Withstands impact from a 7,500 kg truck at 50 mph (80 km/h)

All have been tested to BSI PAS 68, with impacting vehicles striking at 90° to the fence line.

Typical UK Bristorm installations include financial, military, law enforcement and other national infrastructure centres.  When combined with maximum security anti-personnel fencing, CCTV and other electronic monitoring, an unparalleled level of perimeter security is achieved.

Bristorm fence incorporates a flexible design, which enables the system to be easily tailored to individual site requirements.  In practise, this enables high and low threat areas to be accommodated at maximum cost efficiency.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, Bristorm is a flexible and economical solution to perimeter security. The rope structure offers a very small side profile, making it ideal for use in desert environments, where sand would otherwise accumulate against a wall reducing its effectiveness. By utilising the Bristorm security level appropriate to the threat faced along each boundary, a secure perimeter can be economically gained.
