The Bristorm Shallow Bollard has been developed for installation above services providing discrete protection against hostile vehicles.

Perimeter security specialists, Bristorm, have added a shallow foundation bollard to their extensive range of perimeter security products.

The bollard, which has a foundation depth of 400mm, stopped and immobilised a 7,500kg truck (N2) travelling at 30mph (48km/h) with no major debris and very low penetration.

Following the test at MIRA to BSI PAS 68 : 2010 the bollard remained in place with minor damage.

The reinforced modular foundation allows for easy installation above existing services allowing for discrete protection at boundaries within high population and traffic areas. Being finished in hot dipped galvanising, stainless steel or painted the bollards will not look out of place within landscaped areas.
